Roger started his professional career in 1963 when he joined Richard Ellis. He qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1965 and shortly after that joined the old established firm of Baxter Payne & Lepper based in Bromley.
In 1972 he took over the management of the firm’s commercial department dealing with all aspects of commercial property including lettings and sales but concentrating on the professional aspects of the business specialising in rent reviews, lease renewals and commercial valuations.
In 1985 he became the Senior Partner in the firm and in 1987 when the business incorporated he became the Managing Director whilst continuing in his role of managing the Commercial Department.
He resigned in 1990 to help form Michael Rogers LLP of which he was one of the founding partners. He continues to specialise in landlord and tenant work including acting as an expert witness and valuations principally of commercial property and residential developments.
