Richard Robson is a General Practice Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years of experience in both commercial and residential property matters.
He began his professional career in 1979 with Chancellors & Co in Surrey and subsequently joined the Valuation and Estates department at Bexley Council in 1985 where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor. Here he undertook both commercial and residential professional work but specialised in disposals and acquisitions including major development projects.
Richard joined Michael Rogers LLP in 2002, in order to expand the commercial and residential professional services offered in the Kent and South East London areas. In particular he is now well established in the Maidstone, Medway and north Kent area with a fast growing portfolio of new clients in both the private and public sectors. Most notable recent clients include Handelsbanken and Kent County Council with whom Richard has won a major contract to provide a wide range of estates and valuation services throughout Kent. As part of this association he has recently negotiated the purchase of over 30 acres of land in Ramsgate for a new school. He also advises on compulsory purchase and compensation matters to both land/property owners and acquiring authorities and has given evidence at Public Inquiry.
In addition Richard carries out a full range of residential surveys and valuations to private individuals and lenders.
