The New Year has kicked off with a major office letting in Surrey.
Michael Rogers LLP, acting on behalf of the Greater London Fund, (a joint venture between IVG and AXA) have let 21,395 sq ft of office space at Glashaus on Portsmouth Road, Cobham to online insurance company, Swiftcover.com.
Glashaus has been comprehensively refurbished and comprises a two storey, self-contained building, benefiting from air conditioning, fully accessible raised floors and parking for 103 cars. Michael Rogers LLP also advised the Landlord as to the appropriate level of specification and refurbishment.
Swiftcover.com has signed a ten year lease with a break at year five, at an initial rent of £24.00 per sq ft. The company required larger office space to accommodate its rapid business expansion and will relocate from premises in Send. Lambert Smith Hampton's Guildford office acted for Swiftcover.com.
